Education: Boston College School of Social Work ’19

Hometown: Boston, Massachusetts

Fun Fact: I studied abroad in Rome, Italy!

She grew up on the island of Fogo, Cape Verde, on the west coast of Africa where my family is from. Sara recently graduated from College of the Holy Cross in May where she coached Women’s Club Basketball and also played on the team. She is now in her first year of a two-year program (clinical track) at the School of Social Work at Boston College. She is also currently completing field work at Boston International High School Newcomers Academy where she provides one-on-one counseling to students from a variety of cultures.

Hometown: New Mexico, but raised in Jordan

Favorite Foods: anything healthy!

Iman is currently a Youth Specialist with Cambridge Health Alliance. She works with youth in Malden and Everett to provide health education classes. Prior to that she was at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Outside from work, she enjoys going on hikes around New England as well and playing volleyball. She studied her undergraduate in Purdue and has been in Boston for almost three years.

Fun Fact: In his spare time, Maciej enjoys playing sports, fishing, reading, and hiking.

Maciej, a self-taught Entrepreneur as the Founder of the Polish American Networking Association (PANA) a Boston-based non-profit, is a community leader driving enterprise initiatives. Maciej’s passion is advising startups, crystallizing their strategies, provide market advice, and addressing operational issues; including freelance mentoring, he’s been featured at Brandeis Innovation Day and MITEF Poland. He has over 5 years of operational and supply chain experience in both corporate and startup environments. Having been born in Poland, Maciej is acting as a catalyst fostering Poland’s global innovation ecosystem by establishing innovate|POLAND. He holds a BA in Quantitative Economics.

Fun Fact: I studied abroad in Rome, Italy!

Victoria grew up in the UK, and moved to the United States at 16 to finish high school. She now attends Harvard University, where she is a junior earning her undergraduate degree in English with a citation in Italian. She has studied abroad in Venice, Italy, and also takes classes at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education. Her extracurriculars include writing for campus publications like The Crimson and mentoring in Boston’s South End. Victoria loves visiting historic sites in Boston and western Massachusetts, and visiting the artistic venues in Boston, like Symphony Hall and the Museum of Fine Arts.
